Our initiative started with a passion for creating unique and sustainable souvenirs that tourists can take home to remember their happy moments exploring the ocean around the Azores. Our first step was designing stuffed whales that could be produced locally on the island. As our project grew, we realized the importance of supporting the community, and that’s why we involved Azorean women in the production process.
